There are a number of reasons your cursor’s movement could become unstable.

Problems usually occur if you’ve removed the batteries from your Wii Remote while playing a game, disconnected or reconnected your Wii MotionPlus accessory while playing, or moved your Wii Remote from a warm to a cold room (or vice versa).

If you’ve done any of these things, switch your console off and restart it to address the problem.
