Applies to: Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Wii Mini
If your Wii has been exposed to extreme temperatures, use these guidelines to address the issue.
Allow your Wii a few hours at room temperature before attempting to do anything else. Once it returns to room temperature, try and turn it on.
If your Wii has returned to room temperature and it works, but you are experiencing other problems, please see the appropriate section for further details – e.g. I can only see a plain black or plain white screen…
If you’ve left your Wii to return to room temperature and it won’t work at all, you’ll need to send us your console to be repaired. Unfortunately this is physical damage that is not covered by your warranty.
You can book your Wii in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.
