If the sound or picture from your Wii isn’t in sync, use this checklist to find out what might be wrong.
If so, this could be what’s causing the problem. These devices intentionally create a delay in displaying the picture, which would explain why the reaction from your controller is delayed.
We recommend that you plug your Wii directly into your TV or VCR in order to avoid sound and picture delay.
Some models can cause a delay when playing video games. Try your Wii with another television to discover if this is causing the issue.
Try a different Wii Remote with your system. If this works, your original Wii Remote will need to be replaced.
If you have followed the steps above and the problem persists, the problem is most likely with your Wii console and will need to be repaired.
