Liquids other than water can quickly damage your Wii, so a repair will be necessary.
Unfortunately this type of damage is not covered by your warranty. -
I’ve spilt water into my Wii, what do I do?
Let your system dry for a few days, but do not attempt to speed up the process with a hairdryer – or anything else – as this can damage your console.
Still have an issue?
If the system does not work properly after a few days, a repair will be necessary. Unfortunately this type of damage is not covered by your warranty.
You can still send us your Wii console to fix, but you will be liable for the full cost of any repairs. Details of these costs can be found on our guideline prices for out-of-warranty repairs page.
