If you are experiencing issues with saving or editing Miis on the Mii Channel, follow the instructions below.
If the Mii you are trying to edit was created on a different Wii console, you won’t be able to edit it.
If it was created on your Wii, make sure you select ‘Save and Quit’ when you have finished editing, otherwise your Mii will not save.
Once you’ve created/edited a Mii, check that it shows up in the Mii Plaza then switch off the console. Turn your system back on and access the Mii Channel: if the Mii is still there, your console is able to save without problem.
If the Mii is not there, press the whistle icon to check that it hasn’t wandered off the screen.
If the Mii doesn’t reappear, it’s likely there is a problem with your Wii console’s system memory, and it will need further inspection.
You can book your Wii in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.
