If your Game Disc is dirty, this guide will let you know the best way to clean it.
1. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth – using water only – and clean the disc from the centre towards the edge. Do not use a circular motion or use paper to clean your Game Disc.
2. Make sure the game is dry then try it in your Wii again.
3. If the game shows signs of physical damage such as scratches or cracks it’s likely the Game Disc will need to be replaced.
4. If the game has never worked, or you are discovering errors in the game for the first time, the problem could be with either the system or the Game Disc.
If your Game Disc shows signs of damage we recommend that you send it back so we can have a look at it. The problem could still be with your Wii console so we recommend that you try another game.
Follow the instructions above first. If this doesn’t work, you may need to try the Game Disc in another Wii console.
Unfortunately we can’t tell if the problem is with your Wii or the game. You’ll need to send us both to be repaired.
If you’ve tried the game in another Wii and it works perfectly the problem appears to be with your Wii, so it may need to be fixed.
You can book your Wii and Game Disc in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.
