If one or more of your Wii Remotes will not sync, follow the advice below.
All new Wii Remotes will need to be synced to your Wii before you can play with them. Follow the steps below to sync your new Wii Remote.
1. Place batteries in your Wii Remote
2. Turn on your Wii Console
3. Remove the battery cover on the back of your Wii Remote and press the SYNC button – you’ll find it just below the batteries – until the Player LED blinks
4. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of your Wii Console, then press the red SYNC button on the inside of the compartment
5. When the Player LED stops blinking, the Wii Remote has been synced. The illuminated LED indicates what player number the new Wii Remote is (1-4)
This process must be repeated for all new Wii Remotes.
1. Turn on the Wii Console and wait until the Health and Safety screen appears. Make sure you don’t press the A Button to advance.
2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of your Wii, then press and hold the red SYNC button for 15 seconds. This will clear all synced Wii Remotes from the system.
