Diagnosing the issue
First, make sure you have adjusted the volume control on your system. You should then check whether this problem happens with multiple games, or whether it’s only an issue with one game.

It’s only a problem with one game. What should I do?
Check whether the game’s option menu allows you to turn the sound off. If it is turned off, switch it on and see if this fixes the problem.
If this isn’t an option, try the game in another system.

Unfortunately we can’t tell if the problem is with your Nintendo DS or the game. You’ll need to send us both for further inspection.

Your Game Card will need to be repaired or replaced.
