If your Nintendo DS system will not turn on, follow the advice below to address the issue.
Before completing the steps below, make sure your Nintendo DS is fully charged.
The Power Button on the Nintendo DS systems has been designed to be difficult to push, so that you don’t accidentally switch your system off while you’re playing. Make sure you’re pressing the button with enough force.
It may be that your rechargeable battery is no longer working. Plug your AC Adapter in to both a power socket and your Nintendo DS, then try switching it on.
If you still can’t switch on your Nintendo DS after following the advice above, you’ll need to send it for further inspection.
You can book your Nintendo DS in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.
