My Nintendo DS system won't switch on...

My system is fully charged but won’t turn on. What can I do?

The Power Button on the Nintendo DS systems has been designed to be difficult to push, so that you don’t accidentally switch your system off while you’re playing. Make sure you’re pressing the button with enough force.
I’m pushing the Power Button correctly, but it still won’t switch on. What should I do next?

It may be that your rechargeable battery is no longer working. Plug your AC Adapter in to both a power socket and your Nintendo DS, then try switching it on.

If you still can’t switch on your Nintendo DS after following the advice above, you’ll need to send it for further inspection.
