If your Nintendo DS system freezes in the middle of gameplay, follow the advice below.
The first step is to work out if there’s a fault with a specific game, your Nintendo DS system, or both. Follow the instructions below to establish where the problem lies.
Make sure your system is fully charged, insert the game card you’re having problems with and switch on your system.
If the problem occurs again, try the game in another Nintendo DS system.
Unfortunately we can’t tell if the problem is with your Nintendo DS or the game. You’ll need to send us both for further inspection.
The problem appears to be with your Nintendo DS, so it may need to be fixed.
Your Game Card will need to be repaired or replaced.
If you’re having problems with more than one game it’s likely that there’s a problem with your Nintendo DS system, and you’ll need to send it in for further inspection.
You can book your Nintendo DS and Game Card(s) in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.
Please note that we are only able to repair or replace games that have come directly from Nintendo.
