Diagnosing the issue

I’ve spilt water into my Nintendo DS, what do I do?
Let your system dry for a few days, but do not attempt to speed up the process with a hairdryer – or anything else – as this can damage your system.

I’ve spilt a liquid that is not water into my Nintendo DS, what do I do?
Liquids other than water can quickly damage your Nintendo DS, so a repair will be necessary. Unfortunately this type of damage is not covered by your warranty.
You can still send us your Nintendo DS to be inspected, but you will be liable for the full cost of any repairs. Details of these costs can be found on our guideline prices for out-of-warranty repairs page.
Still have an issue?
If the system does not work properly after a few days, a repair will be necessary. We’ll be happy to repair your Nintendo DS, but unfortunately this kind of damage isn’t covered by your warranty so you’ll be liable for the cost of the repairs.
