Diagnosing the issue

• I’ve tried using another Charging Cradle and it works perfectly

  It appears that your Charging Cradle may be faulty. You can book it in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.

• Is it the Charging Cradle?

  If you’ve tried charging with another cradle and it still doesn’t work, try connecting your Nintendo 3DS to the mains power with the supplied AC Adapter to charge the battery.

  If you don’t have another Charging Cradle to recharge your Nintendo 3DS, please try plugging it directly to the mains power using your supplied AC Adapter.

  If your Nintendo 3DS charges while using the AC Adapter, it’s likely that your Charging Cradle may be faulty and need to be repaired or replaced. You can book it in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.

• Is it the AC Adapter?

  If you’ve plugged your system into the mains power using the supplied AC Adapter and the Power LED still won’t come on, try using another original Nintendo AC Adapter, if possible.

  If charging your Nintendo 3DS with another AC Adapter works, it’s likely that your AC Adapter is faulty and will need to be repaired or replaced.

  If your Nintendo 3DS still won’t charge when you’re using another AC Adapter, it’s likely that your Nintendo 3DS is faulty and needs to be repaired. You can book it in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.

• I don’t have another original Nintendo AC Adapter, what can I do?

  If you can’t charge your Nintendo 3DS with another AC Adapter we unfortunately can’t tell where the problem lies. If this is the case, you’ll need to send your Nintendo 3DS and AC Adapter for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.
