If your Touch Screen isn’t responding properly, please follow the advice below.
If so, try removing it to make sure it’s not causing the problems. If that doesn’t help, try recalibrating your Touch Screen.
Go to SYSTEM SETTINGS in the HOME Menu of your Nintendo 3DS. Next, select OTHER SETTINGS and then TOUCH SCREEN. You can also switch off your Nintendo 3DS and then switch it back on holding down the L, R and X buttons. This will open the calibration screen directly.
To recalibrate, use your stylus to touch the calibration points shown on the Touch Screen as they appear (top left corner, bottom right corner, centre screen).
Once finished, a confirmation message will appear to let you know the calibration has been completed. If the calibration was not successful, you will have to repeat the calibration process.
To complete the calibration, select OK. If you would like to repeat the calibration, select RETRY.
If recalibrating your Touch Screen still hasn’t helped, or you are unable to recalibrate it, you can book your Nintendo 3DS in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.
