If your microphone isn’t working properly, please follow the advice below.
Please visit the SYSTEM SETTINGS menu on your Nintendo 3DS and carry out a Mic Test.
It appears your Nintendo 3DS is faulty and may need to be repaired.
Please check whether the game supports the microphone function of your Nintendo 3DS and adjust the sensitivity of the microphone in the game’s option menu. If possible, you can test the game in another Nintendo 3DS system.

If the game does support the Nintendo 3DS microphone function and it doesn’t work in more than one Nintendo 3DS, it appears that the Game Card may be faulty.
If the Game Card may be faulty, please check who published the game by referring to the contact details in the instruction manual. If Nintendo published the game, we’ll be happy to repair or replace it for you. Please note that we are only able to repair or replace Nintendo games.
If a different publisher released the game, please contact them directly.
