If the +Control Pad on your Nintendo 3DS isn’t responding properly, follow the advice below.
Firstly, we need to find out if the problem lies with your Nintendo 3DS or the game. If possible, please try another Game Card on your Nintendo 3DS.
If so, it appears that your Nintendo 3DS may be faulty and need to be repaired. You can book it in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.
If not, please try the Game Card in another Nintendo 3DS system, if possible.
Does the same problem occur in another Nintendo 3DS?
If you’ve tried the game in a different Nintendo 3DS system and the +Control Pad doesn’t work properly either, the Game Card may be faulty. If the +Control Pad works as it should with the Game Card in another system, it’s likely that your Nintendo 3DS is faulty, and will need to be repaired.
If the Game Card may be faulty, please check who published the game by referring to the contact details in the instruction manual. If Nintendo published the game, we’ll be happy to repair or replace it for you. Please note that we are only able to repair or replace Nintendo games.
If a different publisher released the game, please contact them directly.
