If your Nintendo 3DS casing has been damaged or there is liquid in the system, please follow the advice below.
If your Nintendo 3DS has damaged casing you can book it in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team. Unfortunately, this isn’t covered by you warranty so there may be a charge. Details of these costs can be found at our guideline prices for out-of-warranty repairs page.
Let your system dry for a few days, but do not attempt to speed up the process with a hairdryer – or anything else – as this can damage your system.
If the system does not work properly after a few days, a repair will be necessary. We’ll be happy to repair your Nintendo 3DS, but unfortunately this kind of damage isn’t covered by your warranty so you’ll be liable for the cost of the repairs.
