Diagnosing the issue

• What’s causing the problem?

  Firstly, we need to check if the fault is with your Charging Cradle, the AC Adapter or your Nintendo 3DS. Please connect your Nintendo 3DS directly to the mains power by using the supplied AC Adapter without your Charging Cradle.

• I’ve tried charging my Nintendo 3DS with the AC Adapter and it worked perfectly

  It appears that your Charging Cradle may be faulty and need to be repaired. You can book it in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.

• I’ve tried charging my Nintendo 3DS with the AC Adapter but it didn’t work

  If possible, please try charging your Nintendo 3DS with another original Nintendo AC Adapter.

• I don’t have another AC Adapter, what can I do?

  Unfortunately, we’re unable to tell whether the fault lies with your Charging Cradle, AC Adapter or Nintendo 3DS. You can book them in for inspection by the Nintendo Customer Support Team.

• I’ve tried another AC Adapter and it worked perfectly, what now?

  It appears that your AC Adapter is faulty and may need to be repaired or replaced.

• I’ve tried another AC Adapter and it didn’t work, now what?

  It’s likely that your Nintendo 3DS is faulty, and may need to be repaired.
