Will I have to pay postage to send my Nintendo console for repair?
No, once you have submitted all the details on the Fast Track system we will send you a freepost label that you can attach to your parcel. The post office will scan the label and deliver your Nintendo console to us.
Can I use the Fast Track system if I live in Ireland?
Yes, the Fast Track system is now available to our Irish customers.
Will I have to pay to get my Nintendo console repaired?
For your item to be repaired under warranty, you must have bought the item within the last 12 months and provide proof of purchase.
If your Nintendo warranty has expired we can repair your item but you will be charged.
All charges will be advised prior to the commencement of any repair.
Note : The Nintendo warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse i.e. water damage/broken LCD screen/broken hinges.
What happens if I am advised of a charge for my Nintendo console to be repaired but I don't want to pay?
We will return your Nintendo console back to you unrepaired at no cost to you.
What's the cost?
Minor repairs to the DS/DS Lite and DSi are charged at £30.50 (repairs outside of warranty period)
Major repairs to the DS/DS Lite and DSi are charged at £55.02 ( misuse or physical damage)
Minor repairs to the Nintendo Wii are charged at £28.00 (repairs outside of warranty period)
Major repairs to the Nintendo Wii are charged at £66.92 ( misuse or physical damage)
Accessories may have different charges, but these will be specified before any repair work is attempted.
What will be accepted as Proof of Purchase?
We will accept photo copies of till receipts, bank & credit card statements.
How do I pay?
If a repair is chargeable you will be advised of the cost and how to pay.
Methods of payment include cheque, postal order, secure online credit card or a standard credit card via our customer service team.
How long will my Nintendo console be away?
We will aim to have your Nintendo console back with you in about ten to fifteen working days.
Do I have to fill in ALL my contact details?
We require your name, postcode, VALID e-mail address and a contact number.
Without these details we will be unable to begin the returns procedure.
What if I have not received my Freepost label?
It can sometimes take up to seven working days to deliver your Freepost label through the post, so please allow this for this delay. If you still have not received it after seven working days, please contact us on 0870 6060 247.
If you have chosen to recieve your Freepost label via email, please allow 24 hours for this to be sent to your email address. Please also make sure that the email has not been inadvertently sent to your junk folders.
Why won't my new Super Smash Brothers Brawl or Metroid Prime Trilogy disc work on my Wii?
These games are the first to use a dual-layer disc, which contains more information and is read differently. This may result in a small percentage of consumers experiencing a disc read error. Please use the Fast Track system to log your Wii AND disc so it can be returned, at no cost to you at all and we can resolve the matter for you.
Will I keep my Wii Save data?
The warranty information booklet reads: "Before sending the product to the Nintendo Service Centre, you should remove or delete any private or confidential files or data. You accept and agree that Nintendo will not be responsible for any loss, deletion or corruption of your files or data that have not been deleted or removed. Nintendo strongly recommends that you make a back-up copy of any data that you do not remove or delete"
In short, we will always try to retain any save data you may have, but we cannot guarantee that it will not be lost. This does not apply to downloaded Virtual Console or WiiWare games, as you will always retain the licenses for these.
Will I keep the stickers on my DS console?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will retain any stickers or cosmetic additions to your console, as it may be necessary to replace the case on your console during the course of repairs. We will always try to retain any cosmetic additons that you have put on your DS, but we cannot guarantee that these will not be lost.
